- June – On Tuesday 28th I’m directing Róisín Sheridan-Bryson’s play Every Time We Do This Things Get Worse at Page2Stage Edinburgh’s Pride celebration at Assembly Roxy.
- June – On Thursday 30th I’m directing a reading showcasing an extract of Mikey Burnett’s new Scottish adaptation of Pygmalion at the Rose Theatre.
- July – I’m directing the next stage of development of Hannah Lavery’s The Unseen Boy for Hopscotch, exploring how we move from the digital version back to liveness.
- August – I’m directing Shaul Ezer’s The Masks of Oscar Wilde for Matchmaker Theatre Productions at the Edinburgh Fringe (Greenside @ Riddle’s Court, 5-27 August).
- September – I’ll be at An Tober & Mull Theatre for the first residency week as part of my year as an Associate Artist there.
- September – On the 23rd I’ll be co-facilitating a schools workshop with Jairus Obayomi at the Caird Hall in Dundee as part of the inaugural Opera Festival Scotland.
- September – Old Bones is at the Dundee Fringe on the 25th!
- October – On the 18th the Rabbler team will be sharing a work in progress at the Waverley Bar as part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival.

- March 2021 – Nasty Women will be published in French by Montreal-based Edition Hashtag.

- June 2021 – Edinburgh Acting School’s Performance class presents Ellen McLaughlin’s adaptation of Lysistrata, under the direction of the brilliant Flavia D’Avila and with coaching from me.
- June/July 2021 – New interactive show Danger DuVall: Space/Time Adventurer gets a pilot outing at with Theatre Sans Accents, with Artistic Director Marion Geoffray in the role of Danger! Supported by YTAS, Imaginate, North Edinbrugh Arts and WHALE Arts.
- July/August 2021 – I’m working with Hopscotch Theatre on Hannah Lavery’s The Unseen Child, creating a digital experience for schools.
- August 6 2021 – Izzy Gray’s new piece Sea Glass gets a rehearsed reading at Page 2 Stage Edinburgh as part of Army @ the Fringe, with me directing.
- 24 August 2021 – Edinburgh Literary Salon’s anthology, Lost, Looking & Found, launches, featuring one of my stories about a ghost with an identity crisis. (Yes, I have multiple stories about ghosts having identity crises.)
- 15 September 2021 – Tarot-inspired one-to-one comic horror experience Meet Your Doom debuts on the opening night of Hidden Door! Catch me if you can for this walkabout performance, with card art by Mark Bolsover.
- 22 September 2021 – I’ll be appearing in a live panel game show, The Literal Flow Test, at Dock Street Studios in Dundee as part of the Dundee Fringe.
- September 2021 – My new radio short will be produced by Birds of Paradise/Perth Theatre and broadcast on EHFM. More details soon!
- October 2021 – If you’re on Leith Walk on the 9th/10th, keep an eye out for me at the Leith Police Box where I’ll be doing some personalised storytelling to support Monochrome Maud’s Fortune Series exhibition.
- October 2021 – Celebrating the spookiest time of the year with Pitlochry Festival Theatre! Ghost Stories is a trio of new plays inspired by Perthshire folklore, written by me, Martin McCormick and Maryam Hamidi.
- November 2021 – 2021 marks 700 years since the death of Dante Alighieri, so Fronteiras Theatre Lab, Dundee University and the Being Human Festival will be teaming up to present A Dead Poet’s Tour of Dundee (or as the project has been nicknamed, DanTay), with text by me.

- 1 February 2020 – Fronteiras Theatre Lab presents a work in progress sharing of Canto X, my Dante-inspired collaboration with Flavia D’Avila.
- 3 March 2020 – I’ll be doing some R&D on Screech, a new piece supported by Stellar Quines and Birds of Paradise through Make Do and Mend.
- 3 – 7 March 2020 – Edinburgh Studio Opera presents Cavalleria Rusticana, which I’ll be directing.

- 4 August 2020 – The Den, the micro-opera by Fiona Williams and Christopher Schlechte-Bond that I directed for Opera Harmony, goes live on OperaVision.

- On 30 & 31 October, my new play Eggshells, a corvidious take on the tale of the North Berwick witches, will be presented by the students of Edinburgh Acting School. Join them at the St Bride’s Centre for an unconventional historical horror fix.
- From 14 – 16 November Debbie Cannon’s new show, The Remarkable Deliverances of Alice Thornton, will be at the Scottish Storytelling Centre as part of the Being Human Festival. Having worked as dramaturg on Debbie’s excellent Green Knight, I’m thrilled to be working in the same capacity on her latest project.
